Sustainable Vegetable Gardens
During times of greater economic challenges, high inflation, it makes more sense than ever to grow as much of one's own food as possible, not to mention the satisfaction and comfort of knowing where your food comes from. To encourage this effort Seven Arrows will again be offering a sort of ready-made backyard garden. We will provide a raised bed frame and fill it with organic compost and loam. We also offer for sale a variety of both heirloom and standard vegetables, fruit trees, berries, greens and culinary and/or medicinal herb in the nursery if you choose.
Gardeners may do as much or as little of the preparation and planting work as they care to. A 20 x 20 square foot area generally feeds a family of four, and a 10x10 square foot space yields sufficient quantities for a one or two person household. Enjoy your own ORGANIC harvest all season.
