So you had a bad day?

Gardens and wild places have always been places of great peace and healing. For millennia human beings have gone to the garden to have their wounded and broken pieces soothed and healed, to experience the overwhelming, over-flowing presence of God, Creator, Great Spirit – however one names that Great Presence or whether one names it at all.
Our ideal at Seven Arrows has been to create this place as a public place, a Peace Garden which is always open for strolling through, sitting, relaxing, contemplation. Native American teachings say that each of us is responsible for the future because we are the ancestors of future generations. The gardens each of us plant today, then, must bear fruit for our children's children as well as for ourselves.  As stewards of the planet we must leave it in better condition than we found it!

We have been re-planting at-risk and endangered species of plants on our property for several years. Our herbal education programs all have components which involve the propagation and planting of plants for the Botanical Sanctuary Project. When you buy books at Amazon through our web site, a portion of the sale goes to fund this project.
